Our Mission

Our Mission

The mission of 25:40 is to channel the attention and resources of those blessed with much toward saving children in southern Africa from the devastating impacts of poverty and AIDS, and in doing so create one community of people empowered with purpose, healing and hope.

What We Do
Mother holding son
  1. Support the development and implementation of programs to provide health care for orphans and vulnerable children in poor rural communities in South Africa.
  2. Establish partnerships with and provide financial support to organizations dedicated to directly caring for children in southern Africa who have been impacted by poverty and AIDS.
  3. Foster development of new programs to care for children in southern Africa impacted by poverty/AIDS, especially in the rural areas of South Africa. These programs include addressing health care, nutrition, safety, shelter and education of children who have lost their parents to AIDS or who otherwise are living in vulnerable and risky conditions.
  4. Encourage collaboration and partnering between like-minded organizations in underserved locations
  5. Conduct outreach and raise awareness in the United States and elsewhere about the profound impact of HIV poverty and AIDS on children families in southern Africa

"I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
