South African Wine Tasting a Huge Success

You Bought a Truck, a Driver, Gasoline – And then some!

On March 1, 2008 Rick and Anne Wallace hosted a South African wine tasting at their Potomac, MD home to benefit 25:40. The goal was to raise $25,000 – enough to purchase a vehicle, pay a driver’s salary for two years, and gasoline for a year. Read the full story here.

25:40 has gathered a group of very talented musicians who donated their time and gifts to create a CD to benefit AIDS orphans in South Africa. The CD, called "One Child At a Time," is a wonderful collection of very talented artists inspired by the plight of AIDS orphans in South Africa. They perform inspirational songs and hymns. The CD also has an introduction by The Rev. Mpho Tutu, daughter of The Rev. Desmond Tutu. She also is executive director of the Tutu Institute for Prayer and Pilgrimage in Alexandria, VA.
