Dana will run her 52 marathons for 52 different children -- one for each race -- who are part of the 1,504 children identified in 2009 by 25:40 as being orphaned or vulnerable in the Ngqeleni District in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Project 1,504 is a multi-year program designed to meet the basic and most essential needs of each of these children.
